You could be in the early days of pregnancy - establishing your birth team right away. Or maybe you found yourself with a newborn in your arms in the middle of the night questioning how to navigate your complicated feeding journey. Regardless of when you find us, our support provides you with comfort and confidence throughout the journey.
Lactation Consultant support - In the comfort of your home
The ideal time to contact us for lactation support is in pregnancy so that we can develop a relationship with you, establish unique feeding goals, review your health history, and discuss pump preferences. Ideally, we do a prenatal visit in the third trimester. Or - it's never too late for us to help in your feeding journey - contact us right away if your baby has already arrived and breastfeeding is challenging. We will see you as soon as possible in the comfort of your home! We work hard to ensure insurance coverage for lactation visits and almost all of our clients have no out of pocket costs for lactation support. Jessica Bower is our lactation consultant and she has over a decade of experience serving growing families.
Doula Support - A Team Approach
When you hire Growing Families to be your doulas, you have a team of experienced and committed women to nurture and guide you and your family through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum time. Every doula in the Growing Families team is a mother herself and she was a prior Growing Families client! We share a similar approach in how we support our clients that centers on helping the mother achieve the birth she desires, empowering her to advocate for the best outcomes for her family, and preserving the memory of her birth.
