We believe that education, research, and practice help you to know your options for birth and breastfeeding. When you are informed, you become empowered. And when challenges arise, you know what to do and where to go for support.

How To Thrive:
Prenatal Breastfeeding Class

Lactation consultant, Jessica Bower, offers her in-depth and practical breastfeeding class in-person at Wendover OBGYN in Greensboro once each month. We will cover expectations in the early days, misconceptions about feedings, answer all your questions about breastfeeding and pumping, and help set you up for success. 

For: Pregnant women and their partners

When: Monday, May 6, 6-8pm 

You'll get: A practical and fun class where all your questions are answered, a helpful booklet on breastfeeding to help guide you through the early days, and access to text the lactation consultant at any point after the class.

Fee: $30 per couple

Prepare for a medicated or unmedicated birth

The online class is $50 and you have access to the class through your pregnancy

"Know Your Stuff" Childbirth Education Class

Join moms and partners in-person in a group setting in Kernersville for a 3 part class that covers:

​

Class 1: Nutrition and exercise in pregnancy, communicating with your care team, & stages of labor

​

Class 2: Comfort techniques and positions, medical interventions, and inductions

​

Class 3: Developing your birth preferences, cesarean birth, communication with providers, & review.

​

May Class Series: 5/7, 5/14, & 5/20

July Class Series: TBD
